Fixing Wi-Fi Problems in Mac OS X Yosemite

I have found a solution to my wi-fi connectivity issues that I’ve been having on my iMac. The solution that has worked for me was found in Apple Support Communities.

I’ve had Wi-Fi problems since upgrading to Mavericks and I was hoping they would be resolved in Yosemite, but they were not. So I did a little digging and discovered the process that I cover in this tutorial.

It is possible that this will work for you. I really hope it does. It is also possible that it does not work for you, if this is true I hope you can resolve your issues soon.

I am using my Administrator Login on my iMac because I am the only user. I have no idea if this is also a reason for my problem being resolved. When I had Mavericks on my machine I had another user account, but I recently upgraded to a SSD and started everything from scratch.

Feel free to leave a comment to let me know if this process helped resolve it for anyone else.
